Founded in 1964 as the brand Carp, fishing equipment has been woven in Snow Peak's history for nearly their entirety. While Carp focused mostly on fishing for the species of which it was named for, additional products were offered for seashore fishing, eventually supporting Fly Fishing by the 1990s. While Carp would eventually become Snow Peak Fishing before stopping production entirely, the intent is carried on through modern collaborations with brands like Tiemco and Toned Trout.
