Hammers for rocky surfaces are woven in to the DNA of Snow Peak - their first models intended for securing pitons during rocky mountain summits, and later models like this Rock Hammer No.2 for securing pitons to the rocky shores of Japan while fishing. Its simple design is different than what we see with other models, and vastly different from the Solid Stake Hammers offered today.
