Under Toe Crampons

While many crampons offered by Snow Peak and other brands at the time were larger-full-footed models, Snow Peak also offered these smaller variants that nest under the toe box for climbs where weight is a concern or the ascent not as slippery. 

Snow Peak offered similar models to this as late as the 00s with their Trek series. While materials and design may have evolved, the overall intent and focus on compact size and weight remained true.
