Carabiners were a staple of Snow Peak's mountaineering product line from the 1970s through mid 2000s. This compact variant was intended for climbing and load-bearing use, though now it is strictly a decorative piece.

With the original plastic package, paper insert, and carabiner, it makes for a fun addition to your collection. No Snow Peak branding is stamped into the carabiner itself.
