Hunting & Fishing Knife 6"

An early knife dating to the 1960s, prior to the first mountain logo appearing but post the trademarking of Snow Peak. One of the earliest pieces in the collection.

We recommend the Field Kitchen Knife Santoku as a modern replacement.

Scripted Logo

First seen in 1963 as Yamai Shoten transitioned to the Snow Peak Trademark, this simplified wordmark is prominently featured on mountaineering equipment prior to 1967. Debossed into the leather with a bronze coloring, the texture has softened but the logo remains as bold as ever.

Well-Worn

No piece is perfect, this is no exception. With copious surface rust, wear markings and tears in the leather, this knife isn't meant to be a mint piece. Its story is in the marks, damage and use that is has carried over the decades. This is a good reminder of why refinishing and removal of rust is never encouraged.
