Gum Stake Hammer

Before tools like the Snow Peak Copper Head Peg Hammer were in the market, the brand used other materials like wood, and in this case rubber for the hammer head to reduce shock impact when driving stakes.

Offered in three sizes, the largest (shown here) had a nearly 3" in diameter head. Even so, the rubber/gum material would quickly deteriorate - only accelerated by time and UV exposure.
