Climbing Etrier

Used in steep vertical or inverted ascents while climbing, the etrier is a compact ladder that connects to a carabiner. While shorter and with far fewer steps than modern etriers, this 1980s Snow peak model offers the user sturdy and non-compacting rungs, making it easier to find your footing while your eyes gaze upwards at your goal.
