Deadstock

The simple original Snow Peak tag is still attached to this pair. Affixed with a staple, it warns the user of potential harm that comes with mountain climbing, and a notice that this style of crampon was intended more for light use.

Adjustable Fit

With just two components on a hinge, this style of crampon easily fits most boot sizes and shapes. The two strap design at each corner allows for additional fit and flexibility depending on what you were attempting to climb.

Orange Finish

Snow Peak crampons can be roughly dated two ways, the first is the logo, second is the color. In this case, we see the 1980s logo and orange paint. This dates it to earlier in the 1980s, as around 1985 the color was switched back to black as it would remain until Snow Peak stopped selling crampons in the mid 00s.
