Wooden Stake Hammer

While metal and rubber were commonplace for hammer construction, Snow Peak often used hardwood materials to make their lower end hammers. This piece, constructed 100% from white oak, was included with various tarp kits in addition to being offered separately through the late 90s.

A modern, and much improved version of this is the Snow Peak Copper Head Peg Hammer. It will still show the story of your camping experience, but with replaceable components will last a lifetime.

Well Worn

The materials of Snow Peak hammers have changed over the years, but the indentations of years of driving stakes in to the ground remains. Each hit part of a larger story of the owners connection with the outdoors and a testament to how often they get out - the more deformity, the higher the status.

Traditional Construction

No nails, screws or fasteners of any type, the Wooden Stake Hammer uses a tapered mortise and tenon design to keep the head in place.
