White Moon Single Flower Vase by Asahi Yaki

The stoneware pottery is sliced vertically, creating form that brings to life basalt columns and the cooled lava that provides foundation to Japan while the exterior's blue glaze provides a natural flowing contrast to the otherwise rigid form.

Like so many local goods, Snow Peak branding is inconsistent at best. This vase features a very small asterisk logo stamped into the underside next to the makers mark.
