Spring Fair '95: Wild Sake Set

Coming into 1995, Snow Peak celebrated with a new event, Spring Fair that saw the first traces of limited items related to a seasonal event. While it would be another decade for the Seppou Festival collections to release, the Wild Sake set created a high bar out of the gate.

Made from porcelain, this set features a bottle and two sake cups housed in a small cedar wood box. For a modern version, we recommend looking at the Titanium Sake Bottle or Titanium Sake cup.

Omiyage, Gift

In the tradition of the omiyage, the Snow Peak Sake Set for the 1995 Spring Fair was presented in a traditional cedar box. With a leather handle and sliding door burned with the large Snow Peak logo, it was intended not just as long term storage but as a piece that could be gifted to a recipient.

Tokkuri, Carafe

Having worked extensively with porcelain dish ware during this era, Snow Peak continued the use of the material for this edition. While a soft blue was commonly used for their logo, this piece pulled the seldom used green colorway to distinguish it from other pieces.

Ochoko, Cup

A pair of sake cups, ochoko, were included so the recipient could partake with another. Made from the same porcelain and featuring the same logo as the carafe, the set makes for a handsome trio.
