Hunting & Fishing Knife 10"

An early knife dating to the 1960s, prior to the first mountain logo appearing but post the trademarking of Snow Peak. One of the earliest pieces in the collection.

We recommend the Field Kitchen Knife Santoku as a modern replacement.

Scripted Logo

First seen in 1963 as Yamai Shoten transitioned to the Snow Peak Trademark, this simplified wordmark is prominently featured on mountaineering equipment prior to 1967. Debossed into the leather with a bronze coloring, the texture has softened but the logo remains as bold as ever.

Full Tang Construction

While likely a white-label product, meaning we don't know the true maker of this piece, the quality of the full length tang, brass furniture and mahogany handle have all contributed how long it has survived despite its use.
