Seppou Copper Coffee Can by Kaikado

Kaikado was established a century-and-a-half ago by the Yagi family and has remained in their care through the duration. Known world-wide for their handcrafted airtight canisters, they feature an ever so slight bulge that will keep tea fresh for up to a year.

This smaller version is specifically designed for coffee. Holding two servings of beans, the lid doubles as a single serving measure. The Snow Peak Seppou wordmark is delicately stamped on the face, giving the recipient a warm introduction as the gift box is opened.

Produced by in Kyōto, this piece is part of a series offered exclusively through Snow Peak Land Station Kyōto Arashiyama.

Stamped*

The Seppou front logo displays the words Snow Peak in Kanji script. Carefully debossed, the asterisk is placed directly below it in a reversed embellishment. Unique to this edition, no other Kaikado products display this type of marking.

Presented

Offered in a Kaikado gift box. The two piece design features a slight vacuum, mimicking the slow and intentional process that comes with the opening of the coffee canister itself. Inside the canister is wrapped in paper, keeping it oil and tarnish free, allowing the recipient to use and wear it in based on their own preferences.

Handcrafted

Almost completely hidden to the eye, the form of the canister deceives you. Appearing to be a perfect cylinder, there is an intentional slight deformation to where the lid joins. This hand-tuned bulge helps create a vacuum without the need for locking lids or rubber gaskets.
