The Sato is an adjustable tenkara rod designed to simplify rod selection by offering three lengths in one. Compact and lightweight at 2.9 oz, it can be fished at 10'8", 11'10", or 12'9" depending on the stream conditions. Shorter lengths offer control in tight quarters, while the longer setting provides reach in more open water.

Named after Ernest Satow—the first to document tenkara in writing—the Sato includes two patent-pending features. Its triple-zoom design allows for fast adjustments between lengths without disassembly. It also features the Keep Your Plug™ system: a dedicated slot in the butt cap that securely holds the rod’s end plug during use. Each rod comes with two plugs, one pre-installed and one spare.
