Hope Knifeblade Piton

The Knifeblade piton uses a tapered silhouette and pointed tip to fit in the smallest of cracks. Corrosion has covered most of the logo, but it can still be faintly seen above the rope thread.

Hope was a Japanese mountaineering equipment manufacturer from the 1950s-1970s. They produced this knifeblade style piton between the 1960s and 1970s.
