10-Claw Crampons

The largest of the three primary styles of crampon produced by Snow Peak, these 10-claw crampons are built in two main pieces with each supporting the heel and toe. This flexible design offers a deeper grip on steep ascents as the foot flexes to climb.

Well Worn

Crampons take a lot of abuse, with each step they secure you in place on slippery slopes while encountering rocks and debris hidden under the snow and ice. While the bright orange finish eventually wears, the metal underneath remains steadfast.

Expandable Fit

Not only do these crampons feature a hinge point underfoot for added flexibility, but the large adjustable spin allows for these to be sized to nearly any foot or boot. A simple locking nut and wrench were included to secure the fit in place.

Orange Finish

Snow Peak crampons can be roughly dated two ways, the first is the logo, second is the color. However, the larger crampons remained in their orange finish through 2004. This means dating them roughly falls in to pre and post around 1980 with this set being the latter.
