Snow Peak has announced the Land Lock MFS (TP-672), the first true evolution of its two-room shelter that has long been a pillar in the brand’s tent lineup. So popular the Land Lock has been, that Land-Lock specific campouts are held in Japan and the United States.

The Land Lock MFS This model builds on the original Lack Lock's reputation for spacious living and premium construction, combining it with a revised framework and updated features to support comfort and adaptability in more seasons and conditions.

The Land Lock MFS retains the core structure of separate living and sleeping areas while introducing a new joint frame developed in collaboration with DAC, a well-known tent pole manufacturer. The revised framework improves wind resistance and overall durability. Snow Peak has expanded the effective interior area by about 10 percent without increasing the footprint, creating a more open and comfortable space under the same ground dimensions.

Ventilation and light are also enhanced with newly integrated mesh panels and a roof window that admits natural light and improves airflow. The inner room is modular, switchable between two-person and four-person configurations, and can be mounted on either side of the shelter to suit different layouts and group sizes.

An optional fly cover in TC fabric allows the shelter to be paired with compatible wood-burning stoves such as Snow Peak’s MK Stove (sold separately), extending usability into colder seasons. The Land Lock MFS also uses materials compliant with contemporary PFAS regulations, aiming to minimize environmental and human health impact while maintaining weather protection and long-term durability.

Setup refinements include a single-sleeve, hook-connected body and newly adopted pole boot interfaces that make early stages of assembly more stable and intuitive without sacrificing structural strength. Large side panels remain adaptable for cross-ventilation or full closure as conditions require.

The Land Lock MFS will be available in 2026 through KōROGI.
