Snow Peak has revised the Land Lock, its two-room shelter, for the first time in 17 years. The Land Lock X adds a frame developed with DAC, about 10 percent more interior space, an overhead skylight, a convertible inner room, and support for a wood stove.

Portland, Oregon - July 29, 2026

Snow Peak has released the Landrock X (TP-672), a revised version of the Landrock, the two-room shelter that has anchored its lineup for years. It is the first significant update to the model in 17 years. The shelter went on sale in Japan on June 27, 2026, and is built for four people. Snow Peak reports that its initial production run has largely sold out and that additional stock is planned.

A New Frame

Snow Peak developed the Lack Lock X frame with DAC, a pole manufacturer, reinforcing the joints and adding pole boots that seat each section during setup. The frame is aluminum alloy, in two diameters.

More Interior Space and an Overhead Skylight

The living area is about 10 percent larger than the previous Land Lock. A new skylight set into the ceiling adds daylight and ventilation overhead and is backed with a mesh panel. The inner room can be configured for two or four people and mounted on either the left or right side of the shelter.

Wood Stove Support

The Lack Lock X can be fitted with a wood stove through an optional flycover and a chimney port, which extends its use into colder months. The stove and flycover are sold separately.

Materials

The flysheet is 75D silicone-coated polyester with a light-blocking pigment and a PU coating on the roof and walls, over a heavier 150D silicone polyester skirt. The shield roof combines 75D silicone polyester with TPU, and the inner room pairs 68D polyester walls with a 150D PU-coated floor.

The Landrock has been one of Snow Peak's most recognizable shelters since its introduction, and the Landrock X carries that form forward while updating the frame, the interior, and its cold-weather options. Full specifications and accessory pricing are below.
