Snow Peak has announced the Aero Cumulus Shell (TP-480), the brand’s first air-frame tent shelter, as part of its 2026 product line. The Aero Cumulus design uses inflatable frame elements to reduce setup time and simplify the assembly process, extending shelter performance without traditional poles.

The shelter’s air-frame structure allows the outer fly sheet to stand up quickly with the included air pump, lowering the barrier to entry for larger camping setups. Despite its family-oriented proportions, the shell can be erected and taken down with minimal effort, supporting flexible use across different camp layouts.

Inside, multiple large mesh panels are integrated into the inner fly to improve ventilation and reduce buildup of humidity. The ceiling area also uses breathable fabric to support airflow without sacrificing weather protection.

On the exterior, a visor-style frame is positioned at the main entrance to help block wind-driven rain. The outer fly sheet can be used on its own as a tarp, or paired with options like the TPU door set (sold separately) for a more enclosed experience that maintains view and shelter from colder conditions.

As Snow Peak’s first air-frame shelter, the Aero Cumulus Shell reflects a continued focus on usability, airflow, and modular shelter design that aligns with the evolving needs of campers who value both performance and ease of setup.

Accessories include the TPU door set and an inner mat option, each developed to expand how the shell performs across different seasons and configurations.

The Snow Peak Aero Cumulus Air Tent will be available in 2026 through KōROGI.
