Snow Peak Announces "Made in Fukuyama" Collection

Alongside Snow Peak's new Fukuyama Retail Space opening September 1st, the company has announced a new collection of apparel and equipment made directly in Fukuyama. These products are produced using traditional methods, and like most locally produced product the company offers is only available in this specific store. Snow Peak Fukuyama Free Forged Iron Griddle


This one-of-a-kind cast iron griddle pan makes use of the anchor-making techniques handed down in Fukuyama. It is suitable for cooking over strong heat such as a campfire, and its hammered finish makes it easy to absorb oil and less likely to burn. In addition, the detachable handle makes it easy to use in an oven, and its design makes it look good on a table. Available in two sizes:

Snow Peak Fukuyama Denim Camping Vest


This utility vest is "Made in Fukuyama" in terms of fabric, sewing, and processing. Based on the inline TAKIBI Vest, the same fabric is used for the dark and light colored parts, making the denim look stand out even more. The product is stone-washed to soften the aging and texture.

Snow Peak Fukuyama Denim Shoulder Bag


The fabric, stitching, and processing are all "Made in Fukuyama" and this shoulder bag is large enough to hold A3 size documents. The Velcro closure allows for easy access to the contents, and the tab that can be opened and closed by hooking it with your finger is made using the same manufacturing method used to make belt loops for denim pants. The same fabric is used to switch between dark and light colored parts, making the denim look stand out even more. The product is stone bio-washed to soften the aging and texture.

Snow Peak Fukuyama Denim Sacoche


 The fabric, stitching, and processing of this vertical sacoche are all "Made in Fukuyama." It is a convenient size for carrying a cell phone or small items. The tab for hanging a key holder or LED light is made using the same manufacturing method as denim pants belt loops. The shoulder strap does not have an adjuster, but is designed simply so that you can adjust the length by tying it yourself. The same fabric is used for dark and light colored parts, making the denim look stand out even more. The product is treated with a stone biowash process to soften the aging and texture.

Snow Peak Fukuyama Limited Socks


 These ribbed low-gauge socks are softly knitted using denim remnants and recycled cotton yarn, making them extremely comfortable to wear. They are knitted in Nara Prefecture. They are loosely knitted with extra-thick yarn, making them breathable and sweat-absorbent, making them comfortable to wear even in the summer. They also have an asterisk embroidered on the side
