TENBI is built around a simple concept, wanting a shelter that sets up quickly so you can enjoy the outdoors faster.

Its three-pole frame structure makes for an easy, intuitive pitch. But unlike most quick-setup shelters, TENBI doesn’t compromise on space or comfort. The design balances minimalism with structure, creating an open interior that feels connected to the outdoors even when you're inside.

Most shelters force a trade-off: more poles for stability and room, or fewer poles for speed. TENBI rethinks that equation. Its unique frame layout delivers both comfort and quick setup in a single, versatile form.

A Sincere Commitment to Camping Gear

At TOKYO CRAFTS, we launched our project at the end of 2020 with the concept of delivering “satisfaction beyond words.” After about six months of development, we introduced our first product—the KUBERU fire pit—through crowdfunding, receiving a response beyond our expectations.

The following year, we released the MacLight fire pit, which earned even greater support than our first project. In the year after that, we launched our first tent, the Diafort TC. And last year, we unveiled the Wingfort—a groundbreaking shelter tent featuring a world-first structural design.

We believe 2025 will be a pivotal year for TOKYO CRAFTS. With the goal of becoming a leading outdoor brand in Asia, we are bringing together all our efforts to move steadily toward that vision.

Camping has the power to enrich people’s lives. At TOKYO CRAFTS, we remain dedicated to delivering “satisfaction beyond words” to outdoor enthusiasts around the world.

-TANAKA JUNYA, TOKYO CRAFTS Founder

Customers praised this tent for easy solo setup with just three poles and excellent ventilation through full mesh design. "The skylight is the best!" for stargazing. Spacious enough for 1-3 people with "great design." However, one customer reported a serious delivery issue with no product received despite payment and unresponsive support.

Perfect for my solo camping

As someone who enjoys solo camping, this is the perfect tent! The set up is simple and manageable for one. In the first few tries, setting up the poles by myself was a bit challenging but someone suggested I stake down first to help stabilize one side and that really helped with clicking in the poles.

My favorite feature is definitely the two sky windows that allow me to enjoy the night sky or day view while inside the tent. There were plenty of details that showed Tokyo Crafts really cared about ease of use. I enjoy leveraging the various mesh windows during the warmer months but also like to leave it open in the evening for ventilation and star gazing. And I'll definitely be looking into the additional items like TPU, flysheet, and Inner Tent.

All-season tent (Translated from Japanese)

I use it solo, but it's spacious enough to invite friends over. It's mesh even in the summer. I'm short, so I couldn't reach the skylight. I've reserved TPU for the winter, so I'll be staying indoors.
I don't know about the rooftop yet, so I'm not sure.

I'd been interested in this tent ever since it was released, and after a year of deliberation, I finally bought it.
I recently pitched it for the first time. It was easy to set up and take down, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing camping trip.
The view from the two skylights was refreshing, and I also enjoyed turning off the lights and gazing at the starry sky.
I'd like to make this my main tent from now on.

At the recent summer camp, I finally used my long-awaited "Tenbi Shelter."

In conclusion,
it was the ideal shelter, combining coolness, comfort, and design!

The breathability is excellent

In addition to the large openings at the front and back, the skylight and side panels allow air to pass through from all directions.
Even in the blazing sun, the inside of the tent never gets stuffy, and it was surprisingly cool and comfortable.

Easy to set up even solo

Setting up is intuitive and
can be completed solo in about 30 minutes. Inside, it is spacious enough to accommodate chairs and cots.

The design is also great, with a unique presence

The sophisticated design and calm color are attractive, not too rugged.
It is hard to find something like it on other campers, and the form that blends in with nature is a great match for any gear.

A few points that caught my attention

The loop for holding the front mesh (screen door) together is a little short, which can make it a little difficult to put together
, but other than that, it's well-made down to the smallest details, and the more you use it, the more fun it becomes!
It's packed with gimmicks that make you feel like it's fun !

I've also reserved the TPU panel, so
I'm sure it will be useful for autumn and winter camping
, and I'm looking forward to using it all year round!

I bought a Tenbi roof for the summer. It blocks out more light and looks cool when you flip up the sides of the roof. Tenbi stands out a lot at campsites and is great.

Anyway, the open feeling is wonderful (Translated from Japanese)

It's cool and comfortable even during summer camping.
The entire surface is mesh, so it's extremely breathable.
And the excellent design makes it a luxurious experience even when camping solo.

Saw this tent in YouTube when three well known Snow Peak YouTuber including the importer for Tokyo

Saw this tent in YouTube when three well known Snow Peak YouTuber including the importer for Tokyo Crafts products. I have been using Snow Peak for three years now. Starting from the basic Snow Peak IGT starter set to include many kitchen stuff, and their Tent set.
The simple design of Tenbi basic set as a shelter i can build on it as i need to include the inner tent and floor to have privacy from the front section as a dining and social center with other campers or even mostly my Solo trips. The openness that Tenbi gives. The many doors as access or use as ventilation for recent hot summer trips are so very welcome.
I bought all i could have but wish Korogi will also include selling their pole set and guide lines for the front door as canopy to increase space with covers from the elements. Also additional pole set for the side doors as well.
Finally if possible create a floor sheet or softer, carpeted material on top with waterproof bottom will be excellent. In the meantime, i had to resort to Amazon to buy appropriate flooring as best as i can.
Please bring more tents, more Tokyo Crafts and other nice things we in US cannot get.
The Nanga-Tokyo Crafts 600 sleeping back is on my list. Maybe a tarp set to work with my Tenbi. The Effica Shelter is on my list to use as a dining gathering covering to connect in front of my Tenbi.

Thanks again Korogi.

My Best Wishes,

This is my first tent!
It only requires three poles to set up, so even beginners can set it up easily.
It's well-made down to the smallest details, and it's very easy to use.
The silhouette is also really cool, and
I can't stop staring at it lol.

Just as expected (Translated from Japanese)

I purchased it after checking it out in person at an exhibition in Osaka.
The first time I set it up, it was raining, but there were no leaks and it was a great, comfortable experience.
As you can see in the video, the poles were a little stiff, so I'll try to set it up better the second time.
Since it was raining, I folded it up properly and it easily fit into the storage bag.
I plan to use it for a long time.

Solo to 3 people (Translated from Japanese)

It's easy to set up by one person, so it's spacious enough for solo use.
Using the WACK Ease Shade in Kangaroo mode, it's just the right size for my wife, my 4-year-old son, and myself.
It looks great, has great ventilation, and is a great tent. I really like it.

I'm traveling solo and finally found a tent that's just the right size, neither too small nor too big!
It's fully meshed, making it comfortable even in the summer, and the skylight is the best!
Watching the stars from a reclining chair is so relaxing.
Also, adding a roof increases the light blocking effect!
I also purchased a TPU tent, so I'm looking forward to receiving it.

Does the Tenbi tent use no-see-um netting in its windows? Or is it the larger mesh used in Snow Peak tents? Thnx!

Kōrogi

Hi John,

Great question! The mesh in the Tenbi is far more in line with a standard mesh than the tighter weave of a No-See-Um. If you have any other questions please ask!
