Tani Crampons

Finished in a traditional black coating, these 10-point Tani crampons are constructed of two pieces, and are a large design inspiration for the crampons gracing Snow Peak marketing materials from the 1960s. This pair dates from the mid 1960s based on construction and finish.

Little information about Tani is available, though through their products we know they were a large name in Japanese mountaineering goods from the 1950s-1980s.
