Quality is good, the grate cleans well, loves that it comes with a storage bag for easy transporting. The cons would be that it is not height adjustable, meaning that when I have a full sheet of binchotan laid out, even when at it's hottest, there are times when I still want the grate lower than it's set to. I have turned the grate upside down so that the legs no longer extend the height of it, but this will only work if the coals are mostly spent, as then the grate will be too close to the coals for grilling. What I've resorted to was carrying along 4 socket wrench sockets (they're metal and evenly tall) and I'll throw those in the four corners under the metal pan that the coals sit in and that'll add just enough height that suits my grilling better. I'll do this from the start to avoid having to lift the coal bed unnecessarily during grilling. While on the subject of lifting the coal bed, the two handles used to do that are hard to use when hot. They don't protrude enough to handle without gloves. You can use something like a stick or tongs to lift them up enough for your fingers to go under, but doing it for both handles alone serves to be tricky. For me, setting the height prior helps with never having to lift it during grilling and this works for me. The price of this BBQ box is amazing considering its cons, but a good time can be had with a bit of experience with it.
